Vancouver’s Pacific Theatre has announced it will open its 2010/2011season on September 24th with the gay themed The Busy World is Hushed.
TheatreMania.com said: "…intricacies of faith—as well as issues of sexuality, love and loss—are addressed in this provocative and moving new play…a refreshing take on the overlap between religion and homosexuality." In addition to The Busy World is Hushed, the 2010/2011 Pacific Theatre season will also include Playland by Athol Fugard, Christmas on the Air by Lucia Frangione, My Name is Asher Lev adapted by Aaron Posner from the novel by Chaim Potok, Jesus Hopped the “A” Train by Stephen Adly Guirgis, Jake’s Gift by Julia Mackey, and The Great Divorce adapted by George Drance & The Magis Theatre from the novel by C.S.
